Xiaomi SU7 Electric Sedan Presented

Xiaomi showed its first car. The SU7 electric sedan is designed from scratch and will hit the Chinese market next year. For its production, they will use advanced gigalithing technology, and they also promise to make the car part of the brand’s ecosystem. This means that the SU7 will work seamlessly with Xiaomi gadgets, plus it will support Apple CarPlay and AirPlay. Buyers will be offered versions with one and two electric motors, but there are no prices yet.

Xiaomi held an automotive technology conference in Beijing, where it presented its first electric car, the SU7. This is a sedan the size of a Porsche Taycan, which will be part of the company’s CarIoT ecosystem and will support seamless integration of Xiaomi smartphones and tablets. Ideal proportions will also help the car stand out from its competitors. As far as one can judge, all the main commandments of auto design have been observed (for example, the length of the wheelbase is four wheel diameters), and Xiaomi invited ex-BMW Group designer Chris Bangle as a consultant.

Xiaomi decided to use natural shades, so the SU7 can be ordered in Bay Blue, Yahui Gray and Olive Green. The first symbolizes the sea, the second symbolizes the geological formations in Yadan National Park, and the third symbolizes the hidden beauty of nature. According to the plan, demo copies of Xiaomi SU7 will appear in showrooms in the first quarter of 2024. However, prices have not yet been announced.
