The public premiere of Chery iCar 03 took place at the recent Guangzhou Motor Show, at which time prices were announced and orders began to be accepted. In China, this is a relatively inexpensive model – it costs 140-160 thousand yuan, which in terms of today’s exchange rate is approximately 35 thousand manat.
Although the iCar 03 is a compact crossover, it has a brutal “square” design and good SUV capabilities: McPherson struts in the front and independent suspension in the rear, ground clearance is 170 millimeters, and approach and departure angles are 25 and 29 degrees, respectively. The crossover is driven by one electric motor with 184 horsepower, but later a dual-motor unit with all-wheel drive will appear.
In the cabin there is a 15.6-inch diagonal widescreen multimedia system, a digital instrument panel and a sound system with 12 speakers. Eight driving modes and the ability to control all-wheel drive settings by voice are announced.
