In China, sales of the new Aito F5 hybrid crossover, introduced at the end of 2021, have begun. The Auto brand was founded by Seres and telecommunications equipment manufacturer Huawei.

With a length of 4770 mm and a wheelbase of 2880 mm, the AITO M5 is close in size to the Tesla Model Y. A huge 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Huawei’s proprietary Harmony OS firmware is installed in the car’s interior. compatible with Android apps.

The equipment also includes a 10.4-inch virtual instrument panel, atmospheric interior lighting with 128 colors, a 1000-watt Huawei speaker system with 19 speakers, as well as a set of advanced driver assistance systems.

Technically, the car, created on an all-aluminum chassis, is a classic sequential hybrid – electric motors are responsible for traction, and a 1.5-liter 125-horsepower gasoline turbo unit works exclusively as a generator to recharge batteries on the go.

The base crossover has a single 276-horsepower engine and a single axle drive, while the “older” versions are equipped with two electric motors with a total capacity of 434 or 503 horsepower. The most powerful version capable of accelerating from zero to “hundreds” in 4.4 seconds.
