Skoda has unveiled a concept crossover called Epiq. However, next year the new product will receive a production version.
The length of the five-seater Skoda Epiq is 4.1 m. Thus, in terms of overall dimensions, the car is inferior to the compact Kamiq crossover. The design of the car is made in the corporate style of Modern Solid and has the features of a Kodiaq.
The new product was equipped with a plug instead of the traditional radiator grille (the radar and camera are hidden under it), narrow T-shaped running lights, matrix headlights, large bumpers with vertical slots, a relief hood and roof rails.
The interior of the car is equipped with a 5.3-inch virtual instrument panel, a 13.3-inch touchscreen multimedia system, a two-spoke steering wheel and wireless charging for a smartphone. Luggage compartment volume – 490 l.
According to preliminary data, the Skoda Epiq was built on the MEB Entry platform, which is designed for front-wheel drive electric cars. The car is driven by an electric power plant, details of which have not yet been disclosed. The model’s range is expected to be about 400 km.
