Changan will soon bring to the Chinese market an upgraded version of the Uni-V liftback, which is also available in our country. This, as AutoHome writes, is evidenced by the first photos of the future new product that appeared in the certification database of the local Ministry of Industry. The sedan is certified with two engines and two options for external decor.
The main changes in the design of the five-door occurred in the front part. Here, a new bumper with Y-shaped inserts and an enlarged air intake appeared, while due to the latter, the designers completely abandoned the radiator grille. A new bumper with an imitation of a diffuser was also designed for the stern.
The basic Changan Uni-V will receive a 1.5-liter turbo engine with 192 horsepower. More expensive modifications will be equipped with a two-liter unit developing 235 horsepower. The maximum speed of the liftback will be 205 and 215 km/h, respectively.
It will be possible to determine which engine the model is equipped with by its appearance. The most powerful Uni-V will be decorated with contrasting contour accents along the perimeter and brake calipers of a similar shade, and the rear bumper will have four exhaust pipes instead of two. The design of the wheel rims will also change.
