Today, on April 4, a ceremony of handing over to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev an electric car of Turkish development Togg T10X will be held in Baku.
According to TRT, Turkish Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank will hand over the keys to the electric car to the head of the Azerbaijani state. The ceremony will also be attended by Togg CEO Gyurjan Karakash, who will inform President Ilham Aliyev about the technical characteristics of the machine.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan became the first owner of the Togg T10X the day before. The key handing ceremony took place at the Presidential Complex in Ankara. “From today we will see Togg on the roads,” the Turkish leader said in a speech at the event, Anadolu reported.
According to the head of state, the creation and development of the first Togg electric car, as well as its achievement of the current level, is a symbol of technological and economic development, the country’s reputation on the world stage.
President Erdogan expressed confidence that Togg will gain popularity among car enthusiasts not only in Turkey but throughout the world.
Since the beginning of the process of placing applications for the purchase of the first production model of the Turkish-designed electric car – Togg T10X, a total of 177,467 pre-orders have been received.
