Toyota has unveiled the new generation Alphard minivan. The Japanese also introduced his twin brother Vellfire of the next generation. The production of both cars is established at the plant in Inaba. Those wishing to purchase the Toyota Alphard will have to pay 5,400,000 yen, while the Vellfire will cost 6,550,000 yen.
The fourth generation Alphard minivan is built on the GA-K platform. The length of the machine is 4995mm, the width is 1850mm and the height is 1935mm. The car received McPherson struts at the front and double wishbones at the rear. The novelty was equipped with a large grille, LED optics, embossed hood, sliding doors, retractable footrests, as well as 17-inch wheels (18- and 19-inch wheels are available for an extra charge). The ground clearance of the minivan is 150 mm.
In the interior of the car, which has seven seats, a digital instrument panel and a 17-inch touch screen multimedia system were installed. The ceiling of the minivan now has a single unit called the Super-Long Overhead Console. It contains ventilation deflectors, climate control and power window buttons.
The new Toyota Alphard can be bought with a 2.5-liter gasoline engine with 182 hp. Such a unit works in conjunction with a variator. Also available to customers is a hybrid modification of the model, which is equipped with a 2.5-liter aspirated and electric motor. The total power of such a machine is 250 hp.
