The amazing roadster is designed and built by California-based Hot Rod Service Company based on a 1959 Chevrolet Corvette. The chassis has been upgraded with cross braces, roll cage mounts and new body mounts. At the rear is a Currie Truetrac quad-link axle, but it also has AccuAir air suspension. The brakes are from Wilwood, with perforated discs and six-piston calipers.

Under the hood is a mighty LS7 engine. The 7.0-litre V8 features a new camshaft, Kinsler intake manifold, Billet Specialties attachment kit and a custom-made cold air intake system. Traction to the rear wheels comes through a 6L90E six-speed automatic and an aluminum driveshaft. The machine also uses an XRP Hypalon fuel line, Autowire wiring and a stainless steel exhaust line.

Brake hoses, fuel system and a 68-liter tank are also made of stainless steel. At the same time, the body is almost completely new: there are other front fenders, bumpers, a radiator grill and a windshield. In the interior of the roadster, there were also some innovations. Custom instrumentation, a fiberglass center console with massive handrails, Clayton Machine Works pedals, a Momo steering wheel and Mercedes-Benz floor mats catch the eye. The finishing touches are an Alpine audio system, a Vintage Air climate control system and paddle shifters.

The custom will be up for sale at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction from January 21st to 29th next year. The car comes marked no reserve, that is, without a minimum price.
