The updated Kia Sportage crossover was caught by spy photographers during test drives on European roads. The SUV has less camouflage on the body, which made it possible to see changes in its design. Judging by the photos published by Carscoops, the Sportage will receive a completely redesigned front end. The debut date of the upgraded model has not yet been announced.
The photos clearly show a completely new rectangular radiator grille, a different front bumper and different lighting equipment. The blocks with vertically arranged light elements look C-shaped, which is why the design of the front end of the Kia Sportage is now vaguely reminiscent of the Chinese Hyundai Mufasa.
The silhouette of the crossover, apparently, will not change, and the design of the Sportage stern will be refreshed due to new lights and modified bumper plastic, which will lose its pronounced imitation of a protective plate.
Changes in the engine range of the European Sportage are not expected yet. The current crossover has several powertrain options with different types of electric add-ons, which develop from 150 to 265 horsepower and can travel up to 69 kilometers on electric traction.
