The German studio GeigerCars has modified the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray supercar. The German studio GeigerCars, which specializes in modifying American cars, presented its new project. This time, the tuners turned their attention to the latest generation Chevrolet Corvette Stingray sports car – a mid-engine roadster of the C8 generation, which has become more powerful and received minor stylistic changes in appearance. And, naturally, it became more expensive than its original factory version. The project is dedicated to the 45th anniversary of the studio and will be released in limited edition.
The rear-wheel drive Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray as standard has 482 horsepower and 613 Nm of torque, which are produced by a naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8. The coupe is equipped with an 8-speed preselective robotic gearbox, which the studio did not touch, but the engine was modified.
Thanks to a new intake manifold, redesigned throttle body, modified software and exhaust system from the Z51 package, output increased to 522 horsepower and 652 Nm. GeigerCars installed new larger-diameter brake discs and braided brake lines, and installed KW V5 Clubsport coilovers to improve handling.
The exterior is complemented by OZ Ultraleggera HLT wheels, a new carbon fiber front splitter, rear spoiler and air duct inserts. The Corvette’s interior has been updated with light beige leather on the seats, while other areas trimmed in black upholstery have light beige contrast stitching. The number of Chevrolets planned for production has not been announced, but the price is known – 149,900 euros in Germany.
